On June 23, 2025, the “ASEAN TVET Friendly Match 2025” was officially launched at the CIDB Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The four-day event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Works Malaysia (KKR) and the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).
As a flagship event during Malaysia’s chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025, the competition focused on the construction industry and attracted young skilled talents from ASEAN and across Asia to participate in both competitions and exchanges. The event aims to further strengthen regional collaboration in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) was invited to attend the opening ceremony, joining stakeholders in witnessing the official commencement of the event. CECCM places great importance on the development of regional vocational education and actively supports initiatives that foster skills exchange and cooperation.
CECCM President Mr. Ni Qingjiu, along with representatives from member, participated in the event.
