马来西亚中资企业总商会与马中签证及商业咨询委员会联合举办“劳务签证主题线上座谈会” | CECCM - MCBC jointly organized the "Employment Visa Online Forum"

2021年10月14日,马来西亚中资企业总商会与马中签证及商业咨询委员会联合举办“劳务签证主题线上座谈会”。本次线上座谈会由中资企业总商会张敏会长带领十九家中资企业单位代表和马中签证及商业咨询委员会主席拿督郑源炳与其八位委员共同参会。

拿督郑源炳在致辞中表示对此次座谈会的促成感到十分高兴,他感谢总商会一直以来对马中商务理事会所给予的关注和支持。这是委员会与总商会的第一次会谈,希望两会日后也能保持充分的沟通、加深交流与了解。对于中资企业目前所面对有关于劳工签证方面的问题,他表示深感理解。希望能透过本次的座谈会提供中资企业一些意见与帮助,同时也能让委员们更深切地了解问题并反馈给相关部门,以便能积极改善状况。他相信随着疫情的好转,这些问题也会很快地得到解决。

张敏会长在致辞中首先对马中签证及商业咨询委员会积极组织这场座谈会表示感谢。他提及委员会在中资企业与马方政府之间扮演着十分重要的角色。对中资企业而言,来马经商发展时所面对的有关员工签证方面的问题,一直以来都是一个重要的考量。他希望在委员会与总商会双方不懈的努力之下,能为中资企业与马方政府搭建健康有效的沟通桥梁、帮助中资企业排除难题,继续吸引更多的中资企业来马投资、推动中马之间的商业经济发展。

随后双方也向彼此自我介绍及分享两会成立以来的概况与对未来的展望,希望能在日后促成更多合作与交流的机会。

在问答与讨论环节中,拿督郑源炳与其委员们对中资企业单位代表的提问逐一进行分析与解答。问题主要涵盖于中资企业员工在疫情期间申办劳工签证、工作签证及商务签证时所面对到的阻碍及困难。针对中资企业未能及时申办或延期签证,导致在马运营时面对人员调动的不便及人员缺失等问题,委员会也表示会及时将所有意见反馈予马方移民厅与其他相关的政府部门以作进一步的沟通及帮助。

座谈会结束前,所有与会者一同在线上合照留念。双方在会上达成了和谐的交流也希望能在日后组织线下会谈,保持良好的沟通,一起携手为中马经济与商业发展贡献力量。

On 14th October 2021, China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) and the Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC)’s Visa and Business Advisory Committee jointly organized the “Employment Visa Online Forum”. The forum was led by President of CECCM, Mr. Zhang and Chairman of Visa & Business Advisory Committee from MCBC, Datuk Tee Guan Pian. There were 19 companies from CECCM members unit who participated in the event together with 8 committee members from the Visa & Business Advisory Committee of MCBC.
Datuk Tee Guan Pian first expressed his gratitude towards CECCM or its continuous attention and support to MCBC. This is the first meeting between the MCBC’s Visa & Business Advisory Committee and CECCM. He hoped that the two organisations will maintain its relationship and have more in-depth communication in the future. Datuk Tee Guan Pin stated that he empathised with the labour visa issues currently faced by Chinese companies in Malaysia. He hopes that through this forum, efficient opinions and solutions can be provided to assist Chinese-funded enterprises to solve related visa issues. At the same time, this forum can also provide the MCBC’s Visa & Business Advisory Committee a deeper understanding of the current visa issues faced by these companies and to feed back to the relevant departments in hope that the situation can be actively improved.
President of CECCM, Mr. Zhang Min first expressed his welcome to the Malaysia-China Visa and Business Advisory Committee and thanked the committee for initiating the forum. Mr. Zhang Min stated that the committee plays a very important role between Chinese companies and the Malaysian government. The issue of employee visas has always been an important consideration for Chinese companies in Malaysia.
Both sides hope to build a healthy and effective communication bridge between China companies and the Malaysian government to help China companies solve problems and continue to attract more companies to invest in Malaysia.
