马来西亚中资企业总商会召开2021年理事会 | CECCM held Board of Committees Meeting of year 2021

2021年4月7日(星期三),马来西亚中资企业总商会召开2021年第一次理事会。会议由张敏会长主持,31家理事单位以线上形式参会,中国大使馆经济商务处张佩东公参及李静参赞也参会指导。

理事会主要讨论了推选新任秘书长事宜、汇报第一季度工作内容及总商会年度工作计划、筹备成立分会及通过会费事项。经过讨论理事会一致通过由中国电建集团亚太区总部总经理周家义先生接任秘书长一职。

张敏会长在汇报第一季度工作报告时指出,总商会在驻马使馆的关怀及指导、各理事与会员的支持与配合下,克服了各种不利因素,积极推进了总商会的发展以及工作。包括与大马相关政府部门保持密切合作,多次参与马来西亚国际贸易及工业部(MITI)举办的线上会议跟进疫情防控的最新消息、带领制造业会员到马来西亚投资发展局(MIDA)进行座谈会,拜访马来西亚建筑工业发展局(CIDB)吉隆坡分局等。

会上也通过了下一步工作计划:

1. 继续壮大会员阵容,为会员提供相关服务,丰富会员在马的生活及相互交往。
2. 与政府相关机构保持沟通交流,建立良好的对话机制。
3. 加强与本地商会社团沟通交流,共同推进会员在经济活动方面的发展,促进中马经贸和民间交往。
4. 与中国驻马来西亚使馆和经济商务参赞处建立定期沟通机制。
5. 提倡社会公益事业,树立良好社会形象。
他表示接下来总商会也将与中国大使馆一起全力推进中资企业疫苗接种工作,为各会员企业安排相关事宜。

张佩东公参随后受邀致辞。张公参首先感谢各理事单位在过去一年的积极配合,她也对各中资企业领导者在过去一年面对疫情经营的辛苦表示由衷的体谅与感谢。她对总商会在会长与理事们的带领下所完成的一季度工作成绩表示肯定。同时,她也对总商会及在马中资企业下一步工作提出了几点建议。一是构建“国外国内双循环”新格局,多参与中马两国的经贸活动,体现国际企业价值;二是与马方政府部门和社团建立沟通机制,拓展人脉,为疫情后的经济复苏搭建更多的合作与交流机会;三是强化宣传意识,对中企在马的重点工作进行宣传,以此突出媒体作用并于国际国内起到正面积极的作用。

最后,张公参也不忘提醒大家疫情仍未结束,不要放松警惕。各中资企业应继续加强所在单位的防疫意识,务求降低疫情对企业经营的影响。她希望总商会继续凝聚力量,砥砺前行,为中马两国经济贸易往来作出更多的贡献与影响。

在新常态下总商会再度采用线上会议的方式让理事会顺利进行并圆满结束。我们期待不久后的将来大家能够一起面对面进行交流与讨论。2021年,各行业百废待兴,希望总商会全员上下发挥榜样力量,继续将工作安全有序地开展,推动总商会与驻马中资企业更上一层楼。

On 7th April 2021, China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) held its first Board of Committee meeting. The meeting was led by President of CECCM, Zhang Min. All 31 members of the board of committees fully attended the virtual meeting. Minister Counselor, Zhang Peidong and Counselor, Li Jing of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia also attended the meeting.

The board of committee members mainly discussed the selection of the new secretary-general, the report of the first quarter and the annual work plan of CECCM. After discussion, the board of committee unanimously approved that Mr. Zhou Jiayi, General Manager of the Asia-Pacific headquarters of China Power Construction Corporation, took over the post of Secretary General.

In his report on the work report for the first quarter, President of CECCM, Zhang Min pointed out that with the care and guidance of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia and the support of CECCM’s committees and members, CECCM has overcome various challenges and actively promote the development of the chamber of commerce. This includes maintaining close contact with Malaysian government departments, participating in several online conferences organized by MITI to follow up on the latest news of pandemic prevention and control, visiting MIDA and CIDB KL. He said that CECCM will also work with the China Embassy to promote vaccination for China-funded enterprises.

Minister Counselor. Zhang Peidong was then invited to give a speech. She first thanked CECCM for their active cooperation in the past year. She also expressed gratitude to the leaders of China-funded enterprises for their hard work when facing pandemic in the past year. She affirmed the results of the first quarter completed by CECCM and put forward some suggestions for the next work plan of CECCM. Firstly, is to build a new pattern of “foreign and domestic dual cycles” and to participate more in the economic and trade activities of China and Malaysia. Secondly, to establish a communication mechanism with Malaysian government departments to expand contacts to build economic recovery. Thirdly, to raise the awareness of China companies in Malaysia so as to highlight each enterprises to play a positive role.

Finally, Minister Counselor, Zhang Peidong reminds everyone that the pandemic is not over yet and all of us should continue to stay vigilance. All enterprises should continue to raise awareness of pandemic prevention to reduce the impact on business operations. She hopes that the CECCM will continue to gather strength, move forward, and make more contributions and influences to the economic and trade exchanges between China and Malaysia.

Under the new normal, CECCM once again adopted online meetings to allow the Board of Committee meeting to be held successfully. We look forward to the future where everyone can communicate and discuss face-to-face.
