To support Chinese education and fulfill corporate social responsibility, representatives of Chinese enterprises, together with staff members of the Bank of China Kuching Branch, recently participated in a charity bazaar organized by Chung Hua Middle School No. 4, Kuching, at the initiative of the Sarawak Working Committee. Through their collective efforts, they gave back to the community and contributed to the development of Chinese education.
During the event, participants worked hand in hand and in close coordination to sell fruits, fresh vegetables, and soybean milk. The bazaar attracted enthusiastic support from members of the public, creating a lively atmosphere while showcasing the active participation of Chinese enterprises in charitable initiatives and community service.
The charity bazaar received generous support from participating enterprises. The Bank of China Kuching Branch sponsored fresh fruits, Shang Pin Dou Fang sponsored soybean milk, while local company Bao Lian Vegetables sponsored fresh vegetables. Through their joint efforts, all participating organizations demonstrated their commitment to public welfare and joined hands in supporting the development of Chinese education.
All proceeds from the charity bazaar were donated to Chung Hua Middle School No. 4, Kuching as part of the school’s Education Development Fund, providing support for the school’s educational initiatives and the continued development of Chinese education.
The Sarawak Working Committee has consistently encouraged its member companies to actively fulfill their corporate social responsibilities and participate in charitable initiatives. By working together with various sectors of society, the Working Committee remains committed to supporting education, promoting community development, and making meaningful contributions to society.
