On 8 May 2026, CECCM) paid a courtesy visit to the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and held an exchange session to strengthen communication and cooperation between the two organisations.

During the exchange session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on Malaysia’s current business environment, trends in the manufacturing sector, and the opportunities and challenges facing enterprises. Participants also shared insights on the development of Chinese enterprises operating in Malaysia. Against the backdrop of an evolving regional and global economic landscape, both sides agreed that closer collaboration between business associations would help facilitate resource sharing, information exchange, and business connectivity, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.

The session was attended by Mr. Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai, President of FMM; Dato’ Palaniappan Joseph, Vice President of FMM; Ms. Michelle Hah Mei Kian, Vice President of FMM; and Datuk Dr. Yeoh Oon Tean, Chief Executive Officer of FMM.
