On 28 May 2026, CECCM held an Exchange Session with the Beijing Silk Road International Capacity Cooperation Promotion Center. Both sides exchanged views on Malaysia’s business environment, industrial development, and potential areas for cooperation.
During the Exchange Session, Mr. Zhou Dan, Vice President of CECCM, provided an overview of Malaysia’s investment environment and the development of Chinese enterprises operating in the country. Representatives from participating member companies also shared their experiences and perspectives based on their business operations in Malaysia.
Representatives of the Beijing Silk Road International Capacity Cooperation Promotion Center introduced the organisation’s background and key initiatives, and engaged in in-depth exchanges with CECCM on topics including investment opportunities and business development for Chinese enterprises in Malaysia.
The Exchange Session was attended by Mr. Xu Yuhai, Deputy Director of the Beijing Silk Road International Capacity Cooperation Promotion Center, together with members of the Centre. CECCM was represented by Mr. Zhou Dan, Vice President of CECCM and representative of CICET (M) Corporation Sdn Bhd; Mr. Geng Hao, Vice President of CECCM and representative of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (M) Bhd; representatives from Vice President member companies including Sinohydro Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd and CHEC Construction (M) Sdn Bhd; representatives from Committee member companies including Honor Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and CCECC (M) Sdn Bhd ; as well as representatives from other member companies.
