On 25 April 2026, China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) was invited to attend the launch ceremony of the “Quality Guangdong Products Worldwide · Zhongshan Department Store Enters Malaysia” initiative, hosted by the Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government.
The event showcased Zhongshan’s urban profile, industrial strengths, and business environment, serving as a platform to leverage overseas Chinese networks as a bridge to further promote China–Malaysia economic and trade cooperation.
Distinguished guests in attendance included H.E. Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Malaysia; Mr. Guo Wenhai, Secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee; YB Chiew Choon Man, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia; Mr. Li Zhiqiang, Vice President of CECCM; and Mr. Yang Zhijun, Treasurer of CECCM, among others.
