On 24 April 2026, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) held an exchange session with the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM). Mr. Sun Shuqiang, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, attended the event.
During the session, all parties held in-depth discussions on strengthening chamber cooperation, promoting resource sharing, jointly supporting enterprise development, and deepening practical cooperation, and reached positive consensus.
Among the attendees were Mr. Zang Wenbo, First Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Office of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia; ACCCIM President Datuk Ng Yih Pyng; Deputy President Dato’ Looi Hei Tyng; Vice Presidents Datuk Yap Heng Or and Vice President Dato’ Liew Chee Ming; Secretary General Dato’ Jeffery Tan; Treasurer Datuk Koong Lin Loong; Deputy Secretary General Mr. Michael Chai and Deputy Secretary General Mr. Boo Chin Liong; as well as Director of Media and Mass Comm Department Mr. Adrian Tang.
Representing CECCM were President Mr. Ni Qingjiu from China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd; Vice President Mr. Peng Anping from China Construction Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Ms. Zhou Dan from CICET (M) Corporation Sdn Bhd, Mr. Yu Baoshuang from Dunham-Bush Industries Sdn Bhd., Mr. Li Zhiqiang from China Telecom (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd., Ltd.; Secretary-General Sinohydro Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. representative Mr. Cai Huashu; Vice President Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (M) Bhd representative Mr. Li Kai; and Bank of China (Malaysia) Bhd representative Ms. Chen Huiqi.
During the exchange, both sides also presented souvenirs to each other, further expressing friendship and goodwill.
