On May 10, 2024, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) and Xiamen University Malaysia Campus (XMUM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) to enhance collaboration in industry training, academia, and research.
The agreement, aimed at fostering high-quality talent development, was signed by CECCM President Ni Qingjiu and Prof. Dr. Wang Ruifang, the President of XMUM , with board members from both institutions witnessing the event.
President Ni emphasized the MOU’s role in promoting exchanges between Chinese and Malaysian talents, noting CECCM’s efforts in organizing recruitment fairs to connect students with potential employers.
Professor Wang highlighted the growing demand for quality talent due to the expansion of Chinese enterprises in Malaysia and XMUM’s commitment to aligning its programs with these needs.
The partnership between CECCM and XMUM will deepen the integration of education, research, and industry, establishing robust mechanisms for talent cultivation and exchange. This initiative not only supports growth within both sectors but also strengthens Sino-Malaysian ties by aligning educational efforts with market demands and strategic business interests.
