On 2023, July 18, Chai Jie, President of China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia Sarawak Working Committee (CECCMSWC) visits the minister of Transport Sarawak, YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin.  
President of China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) Sarawak Working Committee, Chai Jie thanked YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin for the care and support to China enterprises in Sarawak over the years, and briefly introduce about the investment and construction of CECCM Sarawak Working Committee in Sarawak. He said, the relationship between China-Malaysia, and China-Sarawak should be deepen. Beside the basic facilities, construction, electric power, and equipment manufacturing, China enterprises will improve the cooperation in the field if digital economy, eco development, new energy, etc. in the future. At the same time, CECCM Sarawak Working Committee is willing to play a good role as a platform for promoting economic and trade exchanges between China-Malaysia, and China-Sarawak.
The Minister of Transport Sarawak, YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, welcomed CECCM Sarawak Working Committee and appreciated the contributions of Chinese Enterprises in the economic development at Sarawak. YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin briefly introduced the plan for Sarawak to CECCMSWC; he introduced the future of Sarawak in smart rail transportation, air transportation, and hydrogen energy. The development and application of the planning situation indicate that the future cooperation between China and Malaysia and China and Sarawak has broad prospects. He also welcomes China Enterprises to join Sarawak’s development in smart rail transportation, air transportation, hydrogen energy development and application, etc. China enterprises are welcome to participate in constructing Sarawak’s transportation and new energy projects and strengthen the friendly cooperation between China and Malaysia and China-Sarawak relations.
