CECCM Attends Malaysia–China Chamber of Commerce Chinese New Year Gathering

On 28 February 2026, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) attended the Chinese New Year gathering hosted by the Malaysia–China Chamber of Commerce.

Among the distinguished guests present were Mr. Zheng Xuefang, Minister of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia; YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport of Malaysia; YB Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry; and Mr. Loo Kok Seong, President of the Malaysia–China Chamber of Commerce.

In his remarks, Minister Zheng Xuefang highlighted China’s economic development achievements and foreign policy, noting that the implementation of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan will inject new momentum into practical cooperation between Malaysia and China, and further advance the high-level strategic community with a shared future.

Minister Loke Siew Fook stated that Malaysia–China economic and trade cooperation holds immense potential and promising prospects, and expressed hope for closer collaboration between the business community and government to elevate bilateral cooperation to a higher level.

President Loo Kok Seong, shared that the Malaysia–China Chamber of Commerce will support the initiatives of Visit Malaysia Year and actively promote deeper cooperation between the two countries in tourism and services trade.

Mr. Ni Qingjiu, President of CECCM, attended the event.
