2024 Annual General Meeting of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia

On the afternoon of January 9, 2025, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) convened its Annual General Meeting at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Over 100 members attended the event with great enthusiasm. His Excellency Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, along with officials from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, were also present. The meeting was chaired by CECCM Secretary-General Zhou Jiayi, with President Ni Qingjiu and Treasurer Yang Zhijun delivering their respective reports.

 

Ambassador Ouyang Yujing praised CECCM and its member organizations for their remarkable achievements in 2024, working hand in hand with local Malaysian enterprises. He acknowledged their outstanding contributions to strengthening China-Malaysia exchanges, enhancing economic and trade cooperation, and upgrading bilateral relations.

The Ambassador expressed his best wishes for CECCM’s leadership team, encouraging them to seize new opportunities and continue their upward trajectory, achieving even greater success in their respective fields.

President Ni shared his optimistic vision for CECCM’s future:

“I am full of confidence in CECCM’s development in 2025. I hope the Council will continue to play a central role by introducing diverse activities and initiatives to strengthen our cohesion and appeal, attracting more outstanding enterprises to join the CECCM family.

As the saying goes, ‘When everyone adds fuel, the flames rise high’. By uniting our efforts, we can achieve greater goals. Every contribution propels CECCM forward and elevates it to new heights.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all member companies for their strong support and active participation in CECCM’s work over the past year. Your collective efforts have enabled us to achieve success across various domains.

In the coming year, I encourage every member to pursue excellence and achieve breakthroughs through innovation. Let us work hand in hand to embrace the new opportunities and challenges of 2025 and create a brighter future together!”
