In October 2024, Mango Media and Xiamen University Malaysia jointly hosted the launch ceremony and related activities for Mango Space at the university’s campus. The event was graced by Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching, Counsellor of the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia Zhao Changtao, Deputy Director General of Tourism Malaysia, Lee Thai Hung, and other distinguished guests. The ceremony was co-hosted by Wang Ruifang, President of Xiamen University Malaysia, and Ge Ya Mei, CEO of Mango Media Malaysia.
The President of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) attended the event alongside its member units, actively supporting this school-enterprise collaboration and witnessing multiple partnership agreements.
The launch of Mango Space is expected to play a significant role in promoting cultural and creative industries and digital collaborations between China and Malaysia. It also aims to enhance Malaysia’s cultural and tourism resources while contributing positively to national economic and talent development.
