On 10 October 2024, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) organised a legal seminar with Affiliate Member Wong & Partners. The seminar was organised to help Chinese enterprises better understand the legal environment and policy changes in Malaysia, as well as to provide compliance advice.
CECCM Committee Member Cheng Ling thanked the law firm for supporting the Chamber’s activities and encouraged the attending business representatives to actively ask questions. She looked forward to the seminar to further enhance enterprises’ compliance awareness.
Speaking on behalf of Wong&Partners, Mr Addy Herg said that an in-depth understanding of local laws and regulations is the key to business success. He also emphasised that he will continue to provide services to the Chamber’s member companies to help them grow steadily in Malaysia.
The seminar attracted many representatives of Chinese enterprises. Under the guidance of professional lawyers, the participants discussed in depth a number of important topics such as foreign investment access policies, labour relations amendments and contract management.
Participants actively asked questions during the Q&A session and the team of lawyers provided expert insights based on the Malaysian law framework on the legal challenges they face in their business practices.
