In August 2024, the the ‘HI CHINA – Discovering China Opportunities -Celebrating 50 Years of China-Malaysia Relationship’, event was held grandly in Sunway Velocity, Kuala Lumpur. Organized by organised by China Media Group (CMG) and supported by China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), this cultural exchange celebration commemorated five decades of diplomatic ties between the two nations. CECCM President Mr. Ni Qingjiu was a distinguished guest at the event.
Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, Director-General of Tourism Malaysia , and Ms. Shi Le, Director of the Sinhala Department of the Asian and African Languages Programming Centre of China Media Group(CMG), delivered speeches that highlighted the enduring friendship and future collaboration potential between China and Malaysia. President Ni, along with other guests, participated in the opening ceremony, officially launching the event.
The event featured an array of booths showcasing Chinese cultural exchanges, where President Ni and guests explored the rich and diverse traditions of China. This cultural showcase deepened cultural interactions with the Malaysia public and further highlighted the strong bond and collaborative spirit between the peoples of China and Malaysia.
