On 4 March 2026, Media Chinese International held its Chinese New Year gathering themed “Galloping into Prosperity” at Wisma Huazong in Kuala Lumpur. The event featured over 100 banquet tables and brought together more than a thousand representatives from Chinese associations, businesses, educational institutions and Chinese-language media to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
During the dinner, guests participated in the traditional “Yee Sang” tossing ceremony, exchanging auspicious wishes for the new year. The evening also featured the official launch ceremony of the celebration theme.
Among the distinguished guests were H.E. Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador of China to Malaysia; Dato’ Lim Kah Chuan, President of the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong); Dato’ Ng Yih Pyng, President of ACCCIM; Dato’ Tan Yew Sing, Deputy President of Huazong; and Tiong Choon, Chairman of Media Chinese International
Mr. Ni Qingjiu, President of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), attended the event.
