On 23 October 2025, the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 World Design Cities Conference (WDCC) – Shanghai Design 100+ Global Competition Overseas Exhibition was grandly held at Centre Court, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Kuala Lumpur. The event was jointly organised by the Malaysia–China Friendship Association (PPMC) and the China Industrial Design Institute Co., Ltd. under the Shanghai Municipal Government.
