As the President company of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), China Communications Construction (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (CCCC Malaysia) continues to lead by example in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and supporting community welfare initiatives.

In response to the Malaysian Ministry of Health’s nationwide call to replenish blood supplies, CCCC Malaysia collaborated with the National Blood Centre (PDN) to host the “Blood Connects Hearts” community blood donation drive at CCCC Tower. The initiative reflected the company’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility and its care for the well-being of the local community.

Medical personnel from Kuala Lumpur Hospital arrived on site early to oversee the donation process, supported by CCCC Malaysia’s “Blue Vest” volunteers who efficiently managed venue setup and logistics. To ensure donor comfort, the company prepared light refreshments and rest areas throughout the event.
Thanks to strong outreach from both PDN and CCCC Malaysia, the drive received an enthusiastic response from employees and nearby residents. Under the guidance of volunteers, participants completed registration, medical screening, and blood pressure checks smoothly, with the first successful donor completing the process shortly after the event began.

Originally planned as a full-day event, the blood donation drive concluded ahead of schedule after successfully reaching its target. The initiative helped ease the pressure on Kuala Lumpur’s blood supply while reflecting CCCC Malaysia’s proactive approach to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
Through this effort, CCCC Malaysia strengthened ties with the local community and reinforced goodwill between Chinese enterprises and Malaysian society.
Looking ahead, the company will continue to uphold its vision of “Making the world smoother, cities more livable, and life better,” advancing sustainable development and contributing to the well-being of the communities where it operates.
