On September 13, 2025, the finals and closing ceremony of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) “Friendship Cup” Basketball Tournament, hosted by CECCM and co-organized by China Communications Construction (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad, and Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., were successfully held in Kuala Lumpur.
This year’s tournament brought together more than 20 Chinese and Malaysian enterprises. Sixteen teams competed in over 20 thrilling matches, with four semi-finalists advancing to the finals to battle for the championship. In the end, CRCC Team won the championship, CCCC Team finished as runner-up, and the Zoomlion-PowerChina United Team took third place.
The closing ceremony featured speeches by Mr Sun Shuqiang, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia and CECCM Vice President & co-organizer representatives. More than 20 participating enterprises and teams attended the finals and closing ceremony. Amidst applause and cheers, award-winning teams and individuals took to the stage to receive their honors and share the moment of glory together.
