Chinese Enterprises Assist in Flood Relief in Bintulu

Severe floods hit Bintulu, Sarawak, disrupting lives and infrastructure. China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd(CCCC(M)), a CECCM member, quickly mobilized its EPCIC project team with PETROS to provide emergency aid and support the local community. Committed to solidarity and responsibility, CCCC Malaysia ensured project safety while actively joining relief efforts.

The project management team closely monitored the development of the disaster and flexibly adjusted emergency plans according to the situation. They coordinated the supply of rescue materials and equipment to fully support the local government in its rescue and recovery operations. Braving the storm, the rescue teams ventured into the most heavily affected areas, helping to clear debris from buildings and actively repairing damaged infrastructure, contributing to the restoration of normal life in the disaster-stricken region.

Through this initiative, CCCC (M) once again demonstrated its commitment as a member of China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), earning widespread praise from the public and adding a new chapter of warmth to the friendship and cooperation between China and Malaysia. Moving forward, CECCM will continue to uphold the spirit of mutual support and win-win cooperation, actively organizing its member companies to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities, and making further contributions to the sustainable development of Malaysian society.
