Chinese Embassy in Malaysia Hosts Reception Celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

On September 29, Chinese Embassy in Malaysia hosted a reception to celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. Over a thousand guests attended, including H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing, Malaysia’s Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Tourism, Arts & Culture Minister Tiong King Sing, Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Senate President Nur Jazlan Mohamed, Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI) Secretary-General Hairil Yahri Yaacob, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KLN) Deputy Secretary-General Ahmad Rozian Abd Ghani, among other officials, friends from various sectors, foreign envoys to Malaysia, diaspora and local community members, and representatives of Chinese enterprises and international students in Malaysia.

In his speech, Ambassador Ouyang Yujing shared about the great achievements of new China since its founding 76 years ago, especially during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Commending the strong development momentum of China-Malaysia relations under the two leaders’ strategic guidance, he looks forward to the bright prospects of the high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, and emphasized that China will continue to share development opportunities, pursue the prosperity of all people, and create a better future with Malaysia and all countries.

Minister Anthony Loke, who delivered a toast on behalf of the Government of Malaysia, congratulated China on its 76th National Day celebration.
