On 18 October 2025, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), in collaboration with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad (ICBC Malaysia), successfully held a Friendship Walk event at Xiamen University Malaysia. Mr. Ni Qingjiu, President of CECCM, Mrs. Geng Hao, General Manager of ICBC Malaysia and Vice President of CECCM, along with over a hundred representatives from Chinese enterprises in Malaysia and ICBC Malaysia employees, took part in the activity.
The event aimed to strengthen communication and friendship among Chinese enterprises in Malaysia through a relaxed and enjoyable outdoor activity. With the official starting signal, participants set off energetically along the scenic campus route, sharing business insights and life experiences along the way. The event not only promoted health and fitness but also vividly embodied the spirit of unity, vitality, and cooperation.
In his speech, President Ni Qingjiu emphasized that CECCM will continue to serve as a bridge to enhance mutual understanding, deepen friendship, and build consensus among Chinese enterprises in Malaysia, while further advancing China–Malaysia economic and trade cooperation.
Mrs. Geng Hao noted that since its establishment, ICBC Malaysia has been deeply rooted in the local community and committed to supporting China–Malaysia cooperation. She added that the Friendship Walk symbolizes both health and happiness, as well as friendship and collaboration. Moving forward, ICBC Malaysia will continue to fulfill its mission as a leading financial institution, work closely with CECCM to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Malaysia, and contribute to elevating bilateral economic and trade relations to new heights.
