From August 26 to 27, 2025, the Boao Forum for Asia convened the Roundtable on Asia-Pacific Regional Cooperation and its Annual Conference in Kuala Lumpur under the theme “Deepening Asia-Pacific Cooperation and Advancing New Progress in Regional Integration.”
At the Roundtable on August 26, Mr. Ni Qingjiu, President of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), was invited to attend and joined guests from various countries in listening to and focusing on topics related to regional cooperation.
On August 27, the Annual Conference was grandly held in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia and former Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Zhang Jun, Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, as well as Prime Minister’s Special Adviser and Chairman of the Institute of Strategic & International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia Faiz, attended and delivered remarks.
Representatives from CECCM also participated in the event, including Mr. Ni Qingjiu, President of CECCM; Mr. Sun Liguo, Vice President of CECCM; Mr. Peng Anping, Vice President of CECCM; Ms. Cheng Ling, Committee of CECCM; Mr. Jiang Xin, Committee of CECCM and representatives from 30 member companies.
