On September 24, 2025, China(ShanDong)-Malaysia Economic And Trade Cooperation Conference , hosted by the People’s Government of Shandong Province, the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia (MITI), and the Malaysia–China Business Council (MCBC), organized by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and co-organized by the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM), the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), and the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), was grandly held in Kuala Lumpur.
Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial People’s Congress; Fan Bo, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee; Zheng Xuefang, Chargé d’affaires ad interim of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia; YB Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia; YB Senator Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan, Chairman of the Malaysia–China Business Council; Rashidi Syed, Senior Director of the Bilateral Economic and Trade Relations Division of MITI; and Datuk Ng Yih Pyng, President of ACCCIM, attended the event and delivered speeches. Around 400 participants attended the conference, including representatives from Chinese and Malaysian government delegations, business associations, enterprises, and financial institutions.
