On August 15, 2025, the Executive Committee of the CECCM Sarawak Chapter paid a courtesy visit to Sarawak Deputy Premier YB Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
Chinese enterprises introduced their business sectors and contributions in energy, construction, and infrastructure, underscoring their important role in the state’s economy. Dr. Sim commended their long-term commitment, shared Sarawak’s development vision, and welcomed further participation in upcoming projects to support the state’s transformation and sustainability.
The visit also coincided with the Deputy Premier’s birthday, where CECCM extended warm wishes and joined in a lighthearted celebration, further deepening friendship. Dr. Sim encouraged Chinese enterprises to strengthen their contributions, noting President Xi Jinping’s historic visit to Sarawak and his expressed wish to return in the future.
The Sarawak Chapter continues to serve as a bridge between Chinese enterprises and the state government, fostering stronger Malaysia–China economic cooperation.
