Bestore Participates in Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Teochew Association’s Charity Event, Benefiting 115 Underprivileged Individuals

On January 5, 2025, Bestore participated in the charity event organized by the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Teochew Association, which aimed to provide financial assistance to underprivileged elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and single mothers. A total of 115 beneficiaries received aid, including 13 Teochew residents from the Sungai Buloh Leprosarium and 10 visually impaired individuals of Teochew descent. Each recipient was given an RM150 red packet along with a Bestore gift bag.

Lee Wen Jian, Director of the Welfare Committee of the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Teochew Association, emphasized that since its establishment, the association has been dedicated to preserving Teochew culture while actively engaging in charitable initiatives. He highlighted that community warmth and harmony stem from everyone’s contributions and support.

This year’s event received strong support from Bestore, a company based in Wuhan, Hubei, China, which generously sponsored a variety of healthy food products for the Teochew community. In total, 150 packs of nutritious food were donated by Bestore.

Since its inception, Bestore has upheld the philosophy of “Premium Quality with a Conscience, a Store for Everyone.” As the company continues its rapid growth, it has garnered widespread support from various sectors of society. “Giving back to society is a responsibility for both individuals and businesses. A small act of kindness can shine like a beacon of hope”, remarked a Bestore representative.

This event was not just a simple donation—it was a demonstration of social responsibility and a heartfelt act of giving.
