On 28 September 2024, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) successfully organised a forum in Kuala Lumpur on the theme of ‘Heart to Heart; Hand in Hand; Together We Are’. As one of the co-organisers, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) actively participated in this important event which focused on education, culture and economic and trade co-operation and development.
During the discussion on the topic of economic and trade co-operation, CECCM Committee Member Mr Li Zhiqiang was invited to be the guest speaker. His presentation explored the vast potential of connectivity, technological innovation and industrial co-operation between Malaysia and China in the future development of the two countries, providing valuable insights to the participants.
The forum brought together a wide range of scholars, experts and members of the cultural and arts community to discuss and exchange ideas. As a bridge between cultural and economic exchanges, the forum not only deepened participants’ understanding of the potential for cooperation between the two countries, but also demonstrated the Chamber’s pivotal role in fostering cooperation between the two countries in the areas of education, culture as well as trade and commerce. Looking ahead, Malaysia and China are poised to work together for a more prosperous future.
