President Ni Qingjiu Attends China-Malaysia 50th Anniversary Photo Exhibition Launch

On August 5, 2024, The Malaysia-China 50th Anniversary Photo Exhibition was launched at Mid Valley Megamall, organized jointly by Sin Chew Daily and Star Media Group. The event was attended by distinguished guests including Ouyang Yujing, the China Ambassador to Malaysia, and Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia.


During the ceremony, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia(CECCM) was presented with a commemorative album entitled “The Blossoming and Fruiting :50th Years of  Diplomatic Relation between Malaysia and China” which features a collection of precious photographs and documents that chronicle the deep friendship and cooperation between the two nations across various sectors such as politics, economy, culture, and society. Highlights include historic meetings between leaders, the East Coast Rail Link project, and the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park. Mr Ni Qingjiu, President of the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia, accepted the album on behalf of CECCM.

The exhibition, open to the public from August 5 through August 18, offers a unique opportunity to witness the enduring friendship and collaboration between China and Malaysia.


President Ni also engaged in discussions with Guo Qingjiang, Chief Editor of Sin Chew Daily, and Dato’ Abdul Majit bin Ahmad Khan, President of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association, further highlighting the significance of the event in fostering bilateral ties.
