On August 14, 2024, the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) conducted a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). The meeting with Deputy Minister YB Liew Chin Tong centered on enhancing cooperation and addressing challenges faced by China enterprises in Malaysia.
CECCM President Mr. Ni Qingjiu presented the CECCM’s initiatives aimed at boosting member collaboration, offering market support, and participating in community welfare. The discussions sought to strengthen government relations and create a better future for Sino-Malaysian economic and trade cooperation.
Deputy Minister YB Liew Chin Tong expressed support for the development of China enterprises in Malaysia, highlighting the importance of increased sectoral cooperation. The visit reaffirmed CECCM’s role in facilitating meaningful dialogue and solutions for its members, solidifying partnerships with Malaysian governmental entities.
Participants included CECCM Vice Presidents Mr. Ding Qian, Mr. Ye Zhonghua, Mr. Zhao Ruisong, along with CECCM Committee Mr. Yu Baoshuang and member Mr. Cao Dong.
