As the Chinese New Year approaches, on behalf of China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (referred to as CECCM), I extend my sincere greetings and heartfelt thanks to all chairpersons and members.

Since its establishment in 2002, under the guidance of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, and through the concerted efforts of formal presidents and committees’ members over 21 years, CECCM has grown significantly and has become an integral part of Sino-Malaysian economic and trade exchanges, achieving many remarkable accomplishments. We have worked diligently to promote exchanges and cooperation among members, while establishing long-term communication mechanisms with Malaysia governments, departments, associations, and universities, actively promoting and organizing various forms of business activities to help our members expand their markets. Additionally, CECCM has actively participated in public welfare, establishing a positive social image. In 2023, to promote the standardized and professional development of various industries, we have successively established three working committees namely the Construction Working Committee, Sarawak Working Committee and Transportation & Logistics Working Committee. The establishment of these working committee has integrated information resources among our members, expanded professional channels, and laid a solid foundation for better protecting members’ rights and interests and creating a healthy competitive environment.

Looking forward, CECCM will continue to adhere to our principle of “coordination, networking, promotion, research, information, and rights protection,” focusing on improving the quality of services to our members, strengthening connections with governments, enterprises, associations, and universities, and continuously enhancing the Chamber’s visibility. We will organize thematic business seminars to provide our members with updates on professional knowledge and skills. We will also strengthen communication and cooperation with the Malaysia government to seek more policy support and resource allocation, actively serving as a bridge and bond to help our members maintain competitiveness in times of change, broaden the channels of exchange between the business communities of both countries, and contribute to the local economy.

As the President, I am fully aware of this responsibility. Moving forward, I will dedicate myself to listening attentively to our members’ needs and opinions, coordinating resources from all parties to create more business opportunities for our members. I believe, under the strong leadership of the China Embassy in Malaysia and through everyone’s active engagement, CECCM will continue to thrive, becoming an indispensable support for China enterprises to establish and flourish in Malaysia.

Once again, I express my heartfelt thanks for your continued support and trust in CECCM. Together, let us strive towards a more glorious future!

By President of the Malaysia China Chamber of Commerce, Ni Qingjiu
