8月11日，中资企业总商会砂拉越分会柴杰会长拜会砂拉越副总理沈桂贤。
柴杰会长感谢砂政府和社会各界人士长期以来对在砂中资企业的大力支持和帮助，并向沈桂贤副总理介绍了总商会在砂设立第一家区域性分会的相关情况。他表示中资企业看好砂拉越良好的营商环境，随着疫后经济复苏，逐步扩大了在砂投资。除传统基础设施建设项目外，近期还加大了对砂政府主导产业的支持。下一步，分会将充分发挥平台作用，让更多的中资企业了解砂拉越，促进中马、中砂经贸往来和友好关系。
沈桂贤副总理对柴杰会长的到访表示欢迎，他充分肯定了中资企业对砂拉越经济发展的付出和贡献。他表示砂拉越政治稳定、自然资源丰富、投资环境优越，近年来社会经济快速发展。砂政府欢迎中国企业来砂投资兴业，愿积极发挥自身优势，为不断加深中马两国、经济合作和文化教育等各领域的交流做出贡献。

On 11th August, the CECCM Sarawak Working Committee, President Chai Jie pay courtesy visits to Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Prof. Dato Sri Dr.Sim Kui Hian
President of CECCM Sarawak Working Committee, Chai Jie thanked the Sarawak government and people for their long-term support and assistance to Chinese-funded enterprises in Sarawak. He briefly introduced on the establishment of CECCM Sarawak Working Committee. He said that Chinese enterprises are optimistic about Sarawak’s good business environment and with the post-epidemic economic recovery, they have gradually expanded their investment in Sarawak. In addition to traditional infrastructure construction projects, support for the leading industries of the Sarawak government has recently been increased. In the next step, CECCM Sarawak Working Committee will give full play to its role as a platform to allow more Chinese-funded enterprises to understand Sarawak, and to promote economic and trade exchanges and friendly relations between China and Malaysia and between China and Sarawak.
Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Prof. Dato Sri Dr.Sim Kui Hian welcomed President of CECCM Sarawak Working Committee, Chai Jie visit. He fully affirmed the contribution of Chinese enterprises to Sarawak’s economic development. He said that Sarawak is politically stable, rich in natural resources, and has a favorable investment environment. In recent years, its social economy has developed rapidly. The Sarawak government welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest in Sarawak, and is willing to give full play to its own advantages to contribute to the continuous deepening of exchanges between China and Malaysia, economic cooperation, cultural education and other fields.
