2021年4月21日，马来西亚中资企业总商会与双威医疗中心联合举办“新冠肺炎疫苗接种计划”线上讲座。线上共有30家企业逾百余中资员工参与。
本次线上讲座由双威医疗中心急诊内科专科医生李传昌分享，总商会总财政杨志军先生作开场致辞，双威医疗中心邓佩诗女士代表发言，总商会秘书处秘书李芸琳主持。
总财政杨志军表示，过去一年的疫情反反复复，总商会也一直在努力跟进疫苗接种的筹备工作与安排，盼能为在马工作的中资员工尽力争取早日接种疫苗。他也叮嘱线上的中资员工勿对病毒掉以轻心，务必与大马政府与人民共同努力，携手战胜疫情，推动经济在后疫情时代的稳固复苏。双威医疗中心代表邓佩诗女士在发言时提到感谢总商会本次与双威医疗中心一起联办线上讲座，希望与会者在参与此次讲座以后都能对新冠疫苗有更全面及清楚的认知，也对接下来的疫苗接种计划更有信心。
随后李传昌医生分享了有关于新冠病毒的疫苗种类及完整接种流程。他从医学角度就其安全性、有效性及副作用等等问题进行了分析与讲解。他表示目前面世的疫苗种类都已经过严格的评估与审查并拥有足够的临床实验数据证明其安全性，只要清楚了解自身的健康情况就能有效地避免严重副作用的发生。一般上无过敏或严重疾病者在接种疫苗后皆状况良好。少部分人出现的轻微副作用如疲劳、轻微发烧及头晕等则属于正常现象。他解释过敏患者、孕妇或严重疾病患者等人群也可以接受疫苗的施打，只要向医生查询以后证明其身体状况符合接种标准，医生仍可选择合适成分的疫苗为其进行接种。
在问答环节中，他回应有关疫苗抗体的有效性提问时也提及，目前已知的疫苗抗体能在人体维持约3至6个月，有关疫苗有效期的问题仍需经过观察并实验才能探讨再接种的必要性。因此，无论是否已接种疫苗，大家仍需持续保持良好的卫生习惯及遵守防疫标准作业程序直至新冠病毒绝迹。
新冠疫情仍在蔓延，总商会希望各会员切勿松懈，时时做好防疫措施并关注自身的健康状况。唯有彼此共同努力、相互守望才能战胜病毒，共同迎接美好的曙光。
On 21st April 2021, China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM) and Sunway Medical Center jointly held a webinar titled “Covid-19 Immunisation Programme”. More than 100 employees from 30 companies participated online. The webinar’s main speaker was Dr. Lee Tuan Cheong, a specialist in emergency medicine at the Sunway Medical Center. Treasurer of CECCM, Mr. Yang Zhijun delivered an opening remark followed by the representative of Sunway Medical Center Ms. Faith Tang whom briefly introduced Sunway Medical Center. The webinar was hosted by Ms. Cloudy Lee, Executive Secretary of CECCM.
Yang Zhijun stated that CECCM has been working hard to follow up with the preparations and arrangements of vaccination, hoping to try its best to get China employees working in Malaysia to be vaccinated as soon as possible. He also urged everyone to work together with the Malaysian government to overcome Covid-19 and promote a stable economic recovery. Next, Ms. Faith Tang, representative of Sunway Medical Center, thank CECCM for co-organizing the online seminar. She hopes that the participants will have a better understanding of the vaccine after the webinar.
Dr Lee Tuan Cheong shared the types of Covid-19 vaccines and the vaccination process. He analysed and explained its safety, effectiveness and side effects. Generally, people without allergies or serious diseases are in good condition after being vaccinated. Minor side effects such as fatigue, mild fever and dizziness can happened to a minority of patients and are normal.
During the Q&A session, he also mentioned in response to questions about the effectiveness of vaccine that currently known to last about 3 to 6 months in the human body. He stated that the question of the validity period of the vaccine still needs to be observed and tested before it can be discussed. Therefore, he reminded everyone to continue to maintain good hygiene habits and follow strictly to the current SOP in order to battle against the Covid-19.
Last but not least, CECCM hopes to remind all members will stay vigilant and adhere to the preventive measures in fighting the pandemic.
